Growing Futures upcoming Harvesting Hope fall fundraiser will be on Thursday, October 3rd from 4-8 pm at Strang Hall’s outdoor space in downtown Overland Park!
The evening will be filled with local vendors, games, amazing food, and live music!
Located in downtown Overland Park, Growing Futures Early Education Center is a nonprofit Head Start program that exists to serve and impact roughly 800 individuals in Johnson County, Kansas (223 of which are children, ages 0-5). Not only do we offer early education opportunities, but enrolled children receive onsite dental exams, vision screenings, therapies and more, while families also receive support that helps pull them out of poverty. All enrolled families live 100% BELOW the federal poverty level. Growing Futures wraps our arms around the entire family to help them with kindergarten readiness, while eliminating some of the barriers that exist when living in poverty.
