Mix and mingle with members from a variety of metro-area Chambers at Sporting KC's 2018 Chamber Networking Night! 

  • Check in for Chamber Members is from 4:30PM-5:00PM
  • Networking from 5:00PM-6:30PM in SKC’s Premium Tower
  • Two complimentary drinks & light hor d’oeuvres will be provided to attendees
  • 8:00PM Sporting Kansas City vs. Vancouver Whitecaps game in reserved seating

Companies that purchase 10+ tickets through the SKC Front Office at 913-951-3556, will have the ability to sign up for a 1 minute company introduction to the Chamber Night attendees. SKC has 8 spots available for the night. Companies that purchase 15+ tickets will have the ability to sign up for one of those 8 spots along with in-game video board recognition for their company. Join us 80 feet underground for our first Lenexa Chamber of Commerce Behind the Scenes tour!  The Meritex Company at the Meritex Lenexa Executive Park Subsurface Development is home to a variety of companies in various industries from warehouse/distribution to light manufacturing, IT and bioscience.  Our walking tour will include the history of the "caves" and give participants a close look at both finished and unfinished spaces.  The tour will be limited to 20 participants - register now!

The BBB is dedicated to promoting satisfaction with the marketplace by encouraging voluntary adherence to ethical business practices by providing services to the public.  They do this by: setting standards for markeitng place trust; encouraging and supporting best practices by engaging with educated consumers & businesses; celebrating marketplace role models; calling out & addressing substandard marketplace behavior; and creating a community of trustworthy businesses & charities.

After Hours at the Art Fair
Join us in the Public Market Kitchen between 4:30 and 7 pm at our AFTER HOURS AT THE ART FAIR.  Chamber members and their guests will enjoy a complimentary pretzel bar, beer, wine & water.  

The Lenexa Art Fair will be held in the Commons just outside of City Hall and will feature a number of fine artists plus wine & craft beer vendors.  Art Fair admission is FREE and is open from 10 am to 7 pm.  

Lenexa Art Fair beer & wine tasting tickets ($20) will be sold by the City of Lenexa at the event only. Admission to the tastings will be limited to 1,500 people and will take place from 4 to 7 pm in the Commons.  For more information visit the City's website, www.lenexa.com.

A Night of Hope-Presented by Leadership Lenexa Class of 2018

A Night of Hope-Presented by Leadership Lenexa Class of 2018

The 2018 Leadership Lenexa class presents a public forum and panel discussion on the topics of teen suicide and prevention on Thursday, May 31 from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

The forum is hosted by Shawnee Mission Medical Center, in the Rodgers Conference Center.

WDAF Fox4 is the event media partner with John Holt, Emmy award winning news anchor moderating the discussion.

 

This event is presented in recognition of the Tom Karlin Foundation.  Your attendance will help demonstrate the strong committment of our various leaders and agencies in our community to this important subject.  While no county, school district or municipality is completely immune to the tragedy of suicide, we believe through "A Night of HOpe" the dialogue will generate meaningful thoughts and solutions in the fight to protect young children and teens.

 

Light refreshments will be served at 5:30pm. This is a free event!

Chamber Charity Days - KidsTLC

Chamber Charity Days - KidsTLC
Connect & network with fellow Chamber Members while providing volunteer support at the Pairings Party at Topgolf - a fundraiser for KidsTLC. Volunteers (8) will be providing hospitality/concierge service to the VIP guests, helping with a wine bottle putting game and assisting with the silent auction. Complimentary food and drink will be available throughout the evening. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age to participate and will be registered on a first-come basis.


Each day, KidsTLC treats the most trauma-impacted children in our city, state, region and even the country.  Many children arrive with only the clothing on their backs, shoes that don’t fit and a trash bag with very few belongings.  Through successful and highly innovative services, KidsTLC consistently provides hope and healing for thousands each year through residential psychiatric treatment, outpatient behavioral health, outreach for homeless teens, autism, and parent support services.
