Want to Foster or Adopt? Take the First Step with TIPPS-MAPP
One of the first and most important steps to becoming a licensed foster or adoptive parent is to complete TIPS-MAPP classes (Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence – Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting). These classes are designed to prepare you to care for a child who may have experienced trauma and to provide you with many other supportive skills in your journey as a foster or adoptive parent.This is a 10-week course, and KVC Kansas offers the training at no cost to participants.
