Defensive Driving - Online (National Safety Council - DDC)
This online course presents real-life driving situations, hazard recognition scenarios and defensive driving techniques to motivate drivers to change risky driving habits and behaviors to avoid collisions and traffic violations. National Safety Council’s DDC Online is ideal for new and experienced drivers. This course is offered in English and Spanish. Before you enroll, verify with your insurance company that they will accept the DDC Online Certificate of Completion issued by the National Safety Council.
If a Kansas hearings officer or court has mandated you to complete an NSC class, refer to your letter from the prosecutor to determine which course you are required to complete. This course is also perfect for Licensed drivers and permit holders and organizations that want a driver improvement course for employees.
After you register for the online course, you will receive an e-mail within 3 business day with instructions and your personal access code to begin the course. This is a 4-hour self-paced online course. Participants will have 60-days after registration to complete the course.
